Virtual Grid intelligent image processing corrects for the effects of scatter radiation while retaining high contrast and sharpness. It improves patient comfort, simplifies positioning, and allows for as much as 50% lower dose compared to grid exams. Fujifilm’s Virtual Grid™ is innovative image processing that corrects for the effects of scatter radiation that would otherwise reduce image contrast and clarity for images acquired without an anti-scatter grid. Virtual Grid can be valuable for situations where grid use can be challenging, such as mobile imaging where misalignment of tube angle and/or SID are common and exams where the optimal grid may not be on hand.
